” We stayed at this hotel for two nights in one of the rooms located in the historic main building. The hotel staff were extremely helpful, kind, and welcoming throughout our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed the authentic and delicious Jaffna cuisine served at the restaurant. On the first day, breakfast was à la carte, and on the second, it was a buffet. The dosa we had on the first day, served with sambar and a variety of scrumptious chutneys, was absolutely outstanding, easily the most delicious dosa we have ever tasted. Full credit goes to the Chef! He even prepared a special crab curry for our breakfast on the second day, which was a wonderful surprise.

The hotel also features two bunkers that guests can explore. One contains a gallery of historical photographs, while the other is empty, offering an interesting glimpse into the property’s past.

” We stayed at Fox Resorts Jaffna recently and this was our first visit to Jaffna. We made the best decision by choosing FOX Resorts for our stay in Jaffna. The rooms are well-maintained, clean and very comfortable! The food was divine there! We stayed for 03 nights there and every day, every meal was surprising for us. Indeed food is very fresh, we felt that the food is all natural no artificial additives – to be honest their food is sooo much better than the food in 5 star hotels in Colombo. The restaurant staff is superb! They are very attentive, professional and very service-oriented. Not only for us but also for every other client they serve very quickly without any delay. Scotty from the restaurant staff was a bullet – very attentive, friendly and caring, and helped us in choosing the best out of the Jaffna special menu.

They have nice art gallery and museum that you can visit. Also the front office staff helps you to arrange vehicles for the visits and they suggest the best ways and places to visit to make your Jaffna tour perfect. Also, many thanks to Dulith from the Fox Resorts head office whom did our reservation – he checked on us often to make sure we are having the best time at Fox Jaffna. “

The team, led by a truly wonderful manager, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect.

The hotel itself exceeded all expectations – a stunning boutique property with impeccable design and a gorgeous pool that invites relaxation. The food was equally impressive, delicious and varied, catering to every palate.

The location is ideal, with charming nearby attractions like the museum and art gallery, and the complimentary push bikes were a lovely bonus for exploring the area. Fox Jaffna is a polished, welcoming retreat, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. “

Fox Jaffna exceeded our expectations. From the luxurious and pleasantly decorated room with a balcony (overlooking the garden and pool), to the extremely friendly staff who were always there for us. Everything is very well maintained and if something is wrong, it is fixed immediately.

The local & international breakfast that was included with us is beyond your imagination. The restaurant and terrace are beautifully decorated, featuring a lot of wood. It is lovely to be able to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the beautiful garden. If there weren’t so much to see in the area, you almost wouldn’t leave the hotel.

I will definitely go back on my next visit to Jaffna! “
