“ This is your place in Jaffna!

I recently had a wonderful stay at Jaffna Resort. The property is stunning, surrounded by beautiful scenery and rich history, with a lovely pool area and a fantastic restaurant serving delicious food. I especially enjoyed the Jaffna curries.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even offer bikes for rent, though cycling around Jaffna is a bit wild! ? Special thanks to Shane, the Reception Manager, who made my stay extra memorable. He arranged a guide and driver for a tour of Jaffna, as well as a tuk-tuk to take me to the ferry for a trip to Delft Island, including a tuk-tuk tour on the island. The driver waited all day and even gave a mini-tour on the way back, stopping at temples and scenic spots.

Everyone was so warm and accommodating. My visit wouldn’t have been the same without Shane’s tips and recommendations. Highly recommended!”

“Wonderful resort, enjoyable stay!

We spent three nights at Fox Jaffna, occupying two rooms—one in the main building and the other in the new chalet. Both accommodations were beautifully situated and very comfortable. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly throughout our stay.

The food was some of the best we have had in Sri Lanka. Having grown up here and spent the past 40+ years in the US, that is high praise. Breakfast was especially enjoyable—flavorful, with a different staple each day. I particularly loved the spicy pittu and hoppers; the dosa was excellent as well.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Fox Jaffna. It comes highly recommended by my wife, our friend from the US/India, and me.”

“A beautiful hill top hotel

This is an amazing beautiful hotel . High in the hills over kandy, the setting and views are incredible . The service was superb throughout our stay . A special thank you to Wasantha who looked after us so well in the restaurant . There was always a plentiful choice of food and it was hard to know what to have ! The team work so hard to please everyone . Thankyou Lahiru, Malith, Mendis , and all the kitchen staff . The rooms are beautifully done with views over the valley . The sun deck and infinity pool are a real treat . We enjoyed every moment of our stay and only wish it had been for longer .

“We had a lovely time at Fox Kandy. The rooms are spacious and the staff are incredible friendly and helpful.
The restaurant is also great – the pizzas are made fresh and they use a really really delicious sauce. My mum said it’s the best pizza she’s ever had.

The hotel is set at the top of a mountain – you need to drive up a long, narrow & windy road to get there, but it is 100% worth it. The view and the setting are gorgeous.

Special mentions to Lahiru and Anuradha who work so so hard and go above and beyond for their guests.
