A highlight reel of the best that Sri Lanka has to offer, including the cultural triangle, and beach stops on the eastern and the southern coasts, this trip will give you a little bit of everything. Tour includes accommodation, English speaking guide/chauffeur and 1400km of travel in a luxury a/c vehicle.

Day 1

Leave the crowds in Colombo behind and head to Habarana, the perfect base to explore some of Sri Lanka’s ancient marvels. Spend the next two nights at Cinnamon Lodge Habarana.

Day 2

The rock kingdom of Sigiriya is just 15 minutes away or you can venture further to see the ruined cities of Polonnaruwa or Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka’s first two kingdoms.

Day 3

Minneriya national park offers you a chance to witness the great elephant migration during the dry season or just take a walk around the Habarana lake or hike up Pidurangala mountain for some amazing views of Sigirya.

Day 4

Head to Kandy to continue your Sri Lankan immersion experience. Spend the next couple of days at Fox Kandy where our chefs will whip you up some delicious foods and pamper yourself at our renowned spa.

Day 5

Kandy offers a multitude of activities, whether it’s visiting the sacred Sri Dalada Maligawa or the beautiful botanical gardens or just a quick walk to take in the city - a fusion of relics from the last Lankan capital, the British colonial era and contemporary architecture.

Day 6

Go to Arugam Bay, with it’s eclectic vibe this beach destination is unlike any other on the island, renowned for its perfect waves for surfers. Stay at Blue Wave hotel in Arugam Bay.

Day 7

Explore the small but vibrant Arugam Bay community and its many beaches or spend the surfing.

Day 8

Drive along the coastline to Tangalle to Ranna Beach Villa by Fox for your next beach destination. With acres of green, a tranquil pool perfect for relaxing, and a secluded beach just steps from the villa, you can spend the next few days relaxing.

Day 9

If you’re looking for adventure, head to Yala National Park to spot the elusive Lankan leopard or just explore the many beaches and lagoons in and around Tangalle.

Day 10

Finish off your trip with a quick stop in Galle where you will stay at Fairway Sunset Galle. Walk through the cobble stoned streets of the Galle Fort, stop at one of the many restaurants and take in the views from the ramparts.

Day 11

On your final day, head back to the airport or take a few days to explore the bustling city of Colombo.

Our rates do not include

  • Lunch - throughout the tour and any extra beverages or food/snacks consumed
  • Charges for spa treatments or other excursions not in the itinerary
  • Expenses of personal nature (Telephone calls, Laundry, snacks, etc.)
  • Any personal effects not mentioned in the itinerary
  • Entry tickets for tourist attractions.

Important factors

  • It is advisable to carry a cap or umbrella, sun protection cream & mosquito or any insect repellent (Personal effects Windy / Rainy / Warm weather conditions should be considered)
  • Carry ample water bottles (it’s advisable to consume bottled water though out the tour)
  • Avoid littering on roads, public areas, National parks, and Religious site (please keep it packed in a separate bag and hand over to the chauffeur to dispose or dispose at a designated place)
  • When visiting all religious sites, wearing long, fully covered clothing is strongly recommended. (Conservative clothing while entering the religious sites / Temple – Fully covered for females and legs covered for males)
  • Avoid taking photographs in restricted areas (please refer to the notice boards at sites)
  • Please wear suitable swim attire for indoor or outdoor swimming activities (sea bathing)
  • Never leave your belongings unattended
  • Usage of an insect repellant is advised
  • Please note there is a significant price difference for tickets to parks and historical sites for locals and foreigners. Please bring your NIC if you qualify for local tickets
